The Effect of the U.S. Government's Response
The United States Great Depression lasted roughly for about 12 years compared to the Dark Ages, which lasted approximately 400 years. Although, it did take around 25 years for the United States to get back up to the place they were at, the speed and intensity of recovery is commendable. According to historians, presidents like Franklin D. Roosevelt, have truly succeeded in ushering a new era.
